Meta IV

Meta IV is a classic wooden two-master and was constructed in 1998 as a private luxury yacht. Meta IV measures 85 feet in length or 25 meters. The ship was designed by the naval architect Thomas E. Colvin and is made entirely of Thai teak. After two years of intensive restoration work and refitting, Meta IV started her new life as a luxury charter vessel in the fall of 2012. All cabins have electricity and fans. Cabins each have en-suite bathrooms with showers and Western-style toilets. There are a generous dining area and kitchen in the galley. The spacious upper deck provides for two shaded dining and seating areas as well as the cockpit in the rear area and plenty of room for relaxing, sunbathing or playing in the front and on the galley. The yacht is crewed by her experienced skipper, a Myanmar guide, a chef and a deckhand. The ship is fully equipped with safety gear meeting international standards.
