China Health Declaration Requirement Lifted

As of 1 November 2023, China has eliminated the requirement for travellers entering and leaving the country to complete the Health Declaration Card, marking the end of all COVID-era travel restrictions.

The China General Administration of Customs made the announcement, indicating that individuals are no longer obligated to fill out the Entry/Exit Health Declaration Card, a measure implemented during the pandemic to assess travellers for COVID-19 symptoms. This involved completing a health survey and presenting a generated QR code to Customs personnel. With this requirement now lifted, travellers can now experience much smoother entry and exit procedures.

In March 2023, China resumed issuing all types of visas for foreign nationals. This means that whether you’re travelling for tourism, business, work, study, or family reunions, you can now plan your trip to China with ease.
