China and Singapore sign 30-Day Mutual Visa-Free Policy

China and Singapore sign 30-Day Mutual Visa-Free Policy

Chinese and Singaporean citizens can now enjoy the privilege of entering and staying in each other’s countries without the need for a visa for a duration of up to 30 days. This policy, which commenced on 9 February 2024, extends to individuals holding ordinary passports and travelling for various purposes such as business, tourism, or family visits.

The signing of this agreement in Beijing symbolises a significant milestone in fostering closer relations between China and Singapore, while simultaneously streamlining the travel process for their citizens. Prior to this arrangement, Singapore had a visa-free travel policy limited to 15 days when visiting China, making this extension a notable enhancement in bilateral travel facilitation.
