China Expands Visa-Free Travel Policy to 30 Days

We are delighted to share an exciting update that makes visiting China easier and more convenient than ever. From 30 November 2024 to 31 December 2025, China will extend its visa-free stay period from 15 to 30 days and welcome travellers from nine additional countries under its expanded visa-free entry policy.

This updated policy now applies to ordinary passport holders from 38 countries, enabling visa-free travel to China for business, leisure, family visits, exchange programmes, or short transits of up to 30 days.

Countries Eligible for Visa-Free Entry:

Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland.
