Recently, several airlines have announced new direct intercontinental routes from Beijing.
During the 2026 summer and autumn flight season, the international networks of both Beijing Capital International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport will be significantly expanded, bringing new opportunities for business, cultural exchanges and leisure travel between China and Europe.
Newly Added Routes from Beijing
✈️ Beijing – Boston
From 3 June 2026, the route will operate with direct flights in both directions. Flight numbers HU729/730 will be operated by Boeing 787 aircraft, with services running every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
The return flight will no longer require a technical stopover, saving approximately 3.5 hours of travel time. The route provides greater convenience for business trips, study abroad and travel to the east coast of the United States.
✈️ Beijing – Milan
Launching on 13 June 2026, flight numbers CA749/750 will be operated by Airbus A330-300 aircraft, with daily services.
This route fills the gap for scheduled direct passenger flights between Beijing Daxing International Airport and Italy. Upon arrival in Milan, travellers can easily continue to destinations such as Florence and Rome, making it more convenient for China-Italy business exchanges and leisure travel.
✈️ Beijing – Lisbon
Launching on 22 June 2026, flight numbers JD627/628 will be operated by Airbus A330 aircraft, with one weekly service every Monday.
As the first direct route from Beijing Daxing International Airport to the Portuguese capital, this new connection creates a convenient air link between the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the western edge of Europe. From Lisbon, travellers can also connect onwards to destinations across Europe and South America.
✈️ Beijing – Venice
Launching on 2 July 2026, flight numbers CA973/974 will be operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft, with services running every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
As a dedicated China-Italy cultural and tourism route, this service provides direct access to the romantic city of Venice. Together with the Beijing Daxing International Airport–Milan route, it further strengthens Air China’s network in Italy.
✈️ Beijing – Bali
Launching on 11 July 2026, flight numbers MU889/890 will be operated by Airbus A330 aircraft, with services running every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Travellers from Beijing can now reach Bali’s popular island resorts without the need for a transfer. With Indonesia offering visa-on-arrival facilities for Chinese visitors, the route is ideal for relaxing island holidays.
✈️ Beijing – Bishkek
Launching on 17 July 2026, flight numbers CA893/894 will be operated by Airbus A321 aircraft, with services running every Monday, Friday and Sunday.
This is Air China’s first direct route connecting the capitals of China and Kyrgyzstan, filling the gap in direct air connectivity between Beijing Capital International Airport and Bishkek.
