Two new ferry services are improving accessibility to Koh Lanta and other remote destinations in Southern Thailand.
Launched in November 2025, these routes offer greater flexibility and convenience for exploring this region’s natural beauty and cultural diversity.
Renowned for its pristine beaches, lush mangroves and rich cultural heritage, Koh Lanta offers an authentic glimpse of Thailand. Travellers can now experience the island’s laid-back atmosphere, scenic coastline and traditional fishing villages via the Ao Nang Princess, a new route that departs directly from Phuket.
The air-conditioned service takes just over four hours, departing daily from Phuket’s Rassada Pier at 8.30 am, with stops at Ao Nang at 10.30 am and Railay Beach at 10.45 am, ahead of arriving in Koh Lanta at 12.45 pm. The return service departs Koh Lanta at 1.30 pm and arrives back in Phuket at 5.30 pm.
A second route, operated by Lanta Super Concord Tour, connects Krabi with the islands of Koh Pu and Koh Jum before continuing to Koh Lanta. Departing from Krabi’s Khlong Jilad Pier at 11 am, the ferry returns the following day from Koh Lanta at 8.15 am.
The initiative encourages eco-friendly travel while promoting sustainable tourism in the island communities. For more details and bookings, contact us!
