    3 days, 2 nights

Day 1

Chiang Mai

After landing at Chiang Mai airport, we will transfer to your hotel for check-in. The afternoon’s adventure starts with a 45-minute boat trip along the Ping River, taking in life on the riverbanks. We then take a sam lor (tricycle) to visit famous Warorot Market, which is packed with stalls selling everything from food and drinks, to accessories and household items. We then step next door to the city’s largest flower and fruit market before driving back to the hotel. We enjoy dinner at The Gallery Restaurant Chiang Mai, which was built in 1892 and is situated on the banks of the Ping River. The front building houses an art gallery while the teak wood rear building features a riverside restaurant. After dinner, we hit the colourful night bazaar to snap up souvenirs before returning to the hotel. Overnight at The Rim Resort.

Day 2

Chiang Mai

We start the day with a drive to the south of the city to visit Wat Ton Kwen, also known as Wat Inthrawat. The temple stands as one of the finest examples of classic Lanna architecture in Northern Thailand. We then head to Hang Dong to enjoy an incredible gastronomic experience with a local Ruankaew-Yanon family. You will be welcomed into their home to experience a typical day in the life of a Thai person, in a real Thai neighbourhood. Here, you will learn to cook traditional recipes using authentic Northern Thai flavours and you will serve up a unique cooking experience that differs from the usual cookery classes in hotels. In the evening, we indulge in more classical cuisine with a Northern Thai dinner accompanied by folk dances and talks from hill tribes at Old Chiang Mai Cultural Centre before returning to your hotel. Overnight at The Rim Resort.

Day 3

Chiang Mai

Your final morning in Chiang Mai is spent at your leisure. You can choose to simply relax at your hotel, or hit the streets to explore more of what this vibrant city has to offer. If you need to snap up some last-minute souvenirs, then put on your haggling hat and take another trip to Warorot Market to browse its many bustling stalls. Alternatively, take a stroll along the Ping River, kick-back at a coffee shop and then head to San Kamphaeng Road. Dubbed Handicraft Highway, it is dotted with boutiques selling silverware, ceramics, sculptures, wood carvings, silk products and lacquerware. Then round out the morning with a relaxing massage at one of the many spots that dot Chiang Mai. We then wave goodbye to the city and transfer to Chiang Mai airport for your onward flight.
