Day 1

Arrive in Mongolia and make city tour in Ulaanbaatar

We will pick you up from the hotel and visit Sukhbaatar Square (Chingis square) and National History Museum. We will see Mongolian traditional concert at 6pm. After it, we will have dinner and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2

See Mongol Nomadic Show and visit Khustai National Park

After breakfast, we will drive to Mongol Nomadic camp to see Mongol Nomadic Show which demonstrate traditional living way of real Mongolian nomads and breeding and using of five kinds of livestock and movement from one place to another using ox, yak, camel and horse carts which are the carts between 10am and 12pm. After lunch we will drive to Khustai NP. The park lies in the foothills of southern Khentii mountain range and it is the place where you can see wild horse called Takhi known as Przewalski horse to the world. The wild horses survive in nature by themselves because they have been reintroduced successfully to their homeland after 40 years of extinction. Currently, the number of Takhi has already reached more than 300.

Day 3

Elsen Tasarkhai and Khugnu Khan mountain

We will to Elsen Tassarkhai or semi sand dunes. Walking on the semi sand dunes. Camel riding for 30 minutes. Then we will drive to Khugnu Khan mountain and see small hidden temple.

Day 4

Orkhon Valley and Ulaan Tsutgalan waterfall

Today we will drive to Orkhon valley, registered as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 2005, this Orkhon River valley is known as the cradle of the Mongolian civilization holding many of Mongolia’s ancient monuments lie within its basin. There is Orkhon waterfall also called UlaanTsutgalan, formed by a series of volcanic eruptions about 20.000 years ago. It cascades from the height of 22 metres and is 10m wide. We will visit nomadic family and get experienced there and make horse riding for an hour.

Day 5

Drive to Tsenkher hot spring

We will drive to Tsenkher hot spring, take a relaxing hot spring bath.

Day 6

Great White Lake and Khorgo Volcano extinct mountain

Travel beside the Chuluut River which has carved a deep canyon into the basalt rocks. This canyon is famous for its rich fishing grounds. The Khorgo Volcano is an extinct volcano, covered with basalt and lies to the east of Lake Terkhiin. It is an astonishingly beautiful lake formed by a dam of lava flowing from a volcanic eruption many millennia ago.

Day 7

Kharkhorin and Erdenezuu monastery

In the morning, we will drive to the Kharkhorin, the site of the ancient capital of the Great Mongolian Empire. The city served as the Mongolian capital for only 40 years (until when Khubilai Khaan moved it to what is now Beijing). Most of the city was later destroyed by Chinese soldiers during the second half of 14th century. And the remnants of the city were used to build the ErdeneZuu Monastery in the 16th century. Upon arrival in Karakorum the first and most obvious landmark is the massive walls of the Erdenezuu Monastery, which was the first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. After lunch at local restaurant, we take cultural tour at Erdenezuu Monastery.

Day 8

Drive to UB

After breakfast we will drive to UB. Transfer to the hotel. We will do some shopping.
