Get whisked around Xian’s quaint alleys by tuk-tuk and experience the city’s old-China charm and silk road influenced cuisine.
While some of our stops are located within the Muslim Quarter, we do not visit the touristy Muslim Street because this is not where locals eat.

Xian Evening Food & Craft Beer Tour
Try at least ten authentic local dishes that define why Xian’s food is different from anything else you’ll have in China, plus a pint of craft beer at a brewery nestled against Xian’s famous city wall! Sit side-by-side a local BBQ master as he grills your skewered meat in a quaint alley. Xian is noodle-country, so we’ll take you to our favorite handmade noodle joint in town. Try a variety of traditional Shaanxi Province dishes that you can’t find in street stalls in the Muslim Quarter. Sample a selection of craft beer locally made in Xian before trying a pint of your choice. Plus, a lot more surprises!

Important notes
Few important details to frame the experience:
- The tour lasts for 3.5 hours
- 4 sit-down eateries plus a local brewery
- Start Location: Xi Hua Men Fire Station, near the Bell Tower. Full details and directions will be provided by email immediately after booking
- End Location: Near the South Gate of the city wall, approx. 20-minute walk from the start location
- Private transfers with English-speaking guide from departure point to venue point and back are not included in the rates.
- Dietary Requirements & Allergies: This tour is not vegetarian friendly, instead we recommend joining our tours in Beijing, Shanghai or Chengdu. You must notify us of any dietary requirements prior to your tour date, same-day requests cannot be guaranteed
- Our tour routes change regularly depending on vendor opening hours and tour schedules. Your tour experience may be slightly different than what’s described above, but we promise it will always be awesome.
- Some of our stops are local Muslim restaurants. While you will be able to enjoy beer during the tuk-tuk rides between each stop, out of respect to local customs we cannot allow beer inside some restaurants.
- Approx 5km by Tuktuk
