The countdown to Christmas is underway and what better way to get into the festive spirit than with a unique and immersive cycling experience through Beijing’s historic Central Axis on electric pedal bikes!

Join us on this fun biking adventure as we navigate the capital on two wheels exploring 14 iconic sites. These include Yongdingmen Park, the west gate of the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, the northwest tower of the Forbidden City, Jingshan Park, Houhai Lake, Chang’an Avenue, and much more.

Our expert tour leader will guide you through the heart of the city, unravelling the 750-year-old story of Beijing through your wireless earpiece as you enjoy the ride, taking in the city’s sights, history, and culture.

What Is the Central Axis?

It’s the best-preserved core area of old Beijing – a 7.8-kilometer-long line connecting prominent landmarks. This urban layout embodies the ‘value of the center’ in traditional Chinese culture, influencing city planning and design with a belief in harmony between nature and humanity.

What Makes These Bikes So Special?

They’re a hybrid of electric and pedal, allowing you to cover more distance with the same physical strength. You can choose to ride traditionally by pedalling, turn on the electric function and use the throttle, or opt for a combination of both using power-assist mode.

How Long Is the Ride?

Approximately 25 km in total, the route spans from our starting point to the Southern Moat, Yongdingmen Park, the west gate of the Temple of Heaven, the Altar of the God of Agriculture, Tianqiao, Zhushikou, Sanlihe, Zhengyi Road, Tiananmen Square, Nanchang Street, the northwest tower of the Forbidden City, Jingshan Park, Di’anmen, Houhai Lake, Prince Chun Mansion, Yinding Bridge, Wanning Bridge, Yuhe, Huangchenggen, Nanchizi, Chang’an Avenue, Chongwenmen, and finally back to the starting point.

Is This Activity Family-Friendly?

Yes! However, we can only accept children aged 12 years and above to ensure safety.

How Big Will the Group Be?

We will depart with a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of group of 20.
