KOTA KINABALU AIRPORT PICK-UP

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by our representative and proceed with the transfer to the hotel.

Start your tour with a drive through Kota Kinabalu City, formerly known as "Singgahmata" or "the Place where the Eye Lingers". See places of interest in the city center such as the Wisma Tun Mustapha (Sabah Foundation Building), the University of Sabah, the State and City Mosque and the Sabah Museum. Enjoy a brief stop at Signal Hill for an awesome bird's eye view of the city skyline and nearby islands. Later, if time permits, stop by at Kadaiku, which proudly stock 100% authentic Sabahan handicrafts, supplied by local tribes’ community.

Transfer back to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2

KINABALU PARK/ PORING

Take a scenic 2 hours drive to Kinabalu Park, passing by villages and paddy fields along mountainous roads that wind along with the Crocker range. Along the way, make a brief stop at Nabalu Market. Nabalu is a place where the local natives gather to sell local produce, fruits, homegrown vegetables, and handicraft souvenirs. On arrival at Kinabalu Park, you will notice the change in the temperature of the air. Enjoy the refreshing and cooling air as you proceed for a walk along the nature trails in the Botanical Garden. If the day is clear, you may even spot a majestic view of Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain between the New Guinea and Himalaya. Kinabalu Park boasts an estimate of 4,500 species of plants which include 1,500 species of orchids, 77 of which are endemic to Kinabalu. The park also supports 289 species of birds and 290 different types of butterflies.

After the walk, depart for lunch at a local restaurant.

Later, depart for another interesting wonder, the Poring Hot Spring. At approximately 47 kilometers (1-hour drive) from Kinabalu Park, Poring Hot Spring got its name from the tall bamboo plant that is abundant in that area. At this natural hot spring, there are Japanese baths where visitors can soak themselves and let the invigorating sulfurous water stimulate the body. It is believed to have curative powers. Visitors can also try the Canopy Walkway, where bridges are suspended at the top of the tropical jungle. at 41 meters above the ground.

Return to Kota Kinabalu and drop off at your respective hotel. Dinner at your own account.

Day 3

TAMAU/ KLIAS MANGROVE WILDLIFE 7 SAFARI

Pick-up from the hotel lobby and transfer overland to Klias Forest Reserve. The journey will be along scenic coastal roads and picturesque villages. After your arrival at Klias River village jetty at 16:00, coffee, tea, Malay cakes, and cookies will be served. You will then join a river cruise in search of local wildlife such as the proboscis monkeys, varieties of birds, monitor lizards, and crocodiles. A traditional Malay buffet dinner will be then offered at the jetty. As dusk sets in, join a second short river cruise to observe the flickering fireflies lighting up the river banks.

At 19:30 transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.

Day 4

TUNKU ABDUL RAHMAN MARINE PARK

Pick-up from the hotel and transfer to the jetty. Board a 15-minute ferry ride to one of the five stunning islands that create the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. The boomerang-shaped Manukan Island is the second-largest island within the park, with excellent stretches of beaches and a good trail system around the island. With crystal-clear waters and colorful marine life, this island is an excellent venue for all kinds of water sports. The whole day is yours to enjoy at your leisure, whichever way you prefer.

Also included in the package is a sumptuous lunch by the sea.

Short and simple trails are available for your own option if you wish. After lunch, continue your free leisure time before departure.
